Hailing from the British territory of Gibraltar, and forging a sound that combines classic British rock with big American-style vocals and EDM-influenced synths, classic rock five-piece Jetstream has just released their new single Delta Blues.

It drops on the back of the band's giant main stage performance at MTV's Gibraltar calling. Opening with thumping drums and undulating synths the new song adds a grittier element to their sound, mixing in some grungy riffs which nevertheless lead to a soaring chorus.

The band has been noted as hewing closest to Rival Sons/Kings Of Leon but you can also hear some of their other influences such as Queen, The Killers and Imagine Dragons in the new song. It benefits particularly from an impassioned vocal performance by frontman Nolan Frendo while his bandmates Stu Whitwell, Aaron Ignacio (guitars), Justin Pou (bass) and Tristan Tonna (drums) conjure the bright, widescreen sound behind him. Particularly sweet are the short, cool guitar break and the thundering coda which sees the drums ramp up once more.

Jetstream was previously best known for their award-winning single Starlight (2017 International Song Festival Winner GISF) and have been building their reputation with frequent European tours and support slots with the likes of The Script, Rag N Bone Man, Bastille and Kaiser Chiefs. They will next play in the UK on February 16th at the Islington Academy in London alongside Toploader.
