Rock artist, Danielle Bloom has just released her new single, a rock cover of the Helen Reddy classic, “I Am Woman” with the accompanying video produced by a team of film professionals from Nashville Women in Film & TV (WIFT). The song, which topped the charts 50 years ago, still resonates as an enduring anthem for female empowerment and inspiration, which is why Bloom reached out to Nashville WIFT to create the accompanying music video.

"I am thrilled to have worked with Nashville Women in Film and TV on this project," says Bloom. "As a female artist, it's important for me to support and collaborate with other women in the industry. This song is a timeless anthem for women's empowerment, and I am honored to be able to share my version of it with the world."

The collaboration between Bloom and the organization aims to celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of women from all walks of life and inspire and empower viewers.

“The decision to record this cover song was driven by a multitude of factors,” Bloom explains. “First, the timeless message of empowerment and resilience conveyed in ‘I Am Woman’ resonates deeply with me. The lyrics speak volumes about the strength and determination that not only women, but everyone possesses, which I believe is important to celebrate and highlight.

“I have always admired Helen Reddy and wanted to pay homage to her impactful work. By recording my rendition, I aimed to capture the essence of her version while infusing it with my unique interpretation. I felt compelled to share this cover as a means of uplifting and inspiring others. Music has an incredible ability to connect people on an emotional level, and through this song, I hoped to instill a sense of empowerment in listeners who may be going through their own struggles.”
