Renowned singer-songwriter Chris De Burgh is gearing up for a brand new UK tour, titled 5OLO – ‘The 50th Anniversary Tour’, set to take place in February and March 2025. This momentous tour marks a half-century milestone in his illustrious career, spanning an impressive five decades of musical excellence.

The seven-date tour will kick off at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on February 21, 2025, and will include performances at iconic venues such as the Cadogan Hall in London on February 28th and March 2nd, 2025, before concluding at Symphony Hall in Birmingham on March 3rd, 2025.

Tickets for this highly anticipated event will go on sale at 9:00 am on Friday, March 22, 2024. With a repertoire encompassing over 50 years of music, Chris De Burgh’s live performances have consistently mesmerized audiences with his emotive renditions and timeless hits.

‘The 50th Anniversary Tour’ promises to showcase the breadth and depth of his musical legacy, featuring beloved classics such as ‘The Lady In Red’, ‘Don’t Pay the Ferryman’, and ‘High On Emotion’, alongside newer material from his forthcoming album ‘50’, slated for release later in the year.

Ticket prices range from £50 to £75, depending on the venue, with tickets available for purchase via www.ticketline.co.uk and directly from the venues. Show times are scheduled for 7:30 pm, except for the London March 2nd show, which begins at 6:30 pm.

Reflecting on the upcoming tour, Chris De Burgh expressed his excitement, stating, “The tour will be about referring back to when I started out, as a single guy with a guitar and piano. So, it will be me performing and talking about music, talking about the origins of the songs and their backgrounds.” He also expressed gratitude towards his devoted fans, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his remarkable career.

In addition to his musical endeavors, he co-created ‘Robin Hood – The Musical’, a celebrated production set to premiere in new locations across Europe later this year, following its success in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
