Austrailia’s leading independent record label, Golden Robot Records, have announced the addition of bone-crushing UK hard rock trio Raveneye to their fast-growing international roster. The band have inked a global deal with the label which will see their second full-length album released worldwide in 2019.

The album will be the follow up to 2016’s debut, NOVA, which was a startling blend of grungy hard rock, buzzing guitars and a unique sense of melody that elevated the songs above any attempt to pigeonhole the music. Raveneye founder/guitarist/vocalist Oli Brown had this to say about their new partners and the prospects for album 2, "We’re very grateful to sign with and now become a part of the Golden Robot family. It’s very important to be with a label that cares about the band and honours our musical vision. GRR is putting everything into making this next record the best one yet for us. It’s exciting times for RavenEye we’ve written so many songs to prepare for this record and now we have a label and the means to create it without any compromise."

Golden Robot Records are home to an international roster which includes Dizzy Reed, King’s X and Puddle Of Mudd, as well as Aussie acts led by the venerable Rose Tattoo.

Mark Alexander-Erber - Group Founder and President of Golden Robot - adds, "Rock is back, well it never went away really, and we at Golden Robot Records have been watching RavenEye from the start. They have all the ingredients of a brilliant rock band but stand above the pack with their attitude, ethic and of course, their killer songs! We couldn’t be prouder of having the boys join the family and are looking forward to helping them take over the world!"

Raveneye was formed in 2014 by Brown, who already had a critically acclaimed career as a blues artist. Despite being only 25 years old he had released four studio albums and toured with acts such as Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter and Buddy Guy. With a solid grounding in music and plenty of praise from the likes of Classic Rock Magazine, Brown decided to switch tack somewhat and started hard rock trio Raveneye with Austrailian-born bass player Aaaron Spiers. They released ‘Breaking Out’ – a digital only EP – in 2015 and toured relentlessly, with their livewire, incendiary shows garnering breathless enthusiasm from fans and press alike thanks to the anything-can-happen vibe the trio take to the stage.

NOVA followed, as well as further tours with Slash, The Darkness, Joe Satriani and others including a prestigious support slot on KISS’ 2017 European Tour.

They’re now poised to step up to the next level with their new album, an appearance at Shiprocked Festival next year, and extensive UK, US and European tours which are due to be announced soon.
