She may be one of the most successful and critically acclaimed artists in the world right now and though she is one of the most talented vocally, singer Adele still suffers from crippling stage fright.
Now, the “Skyfall” singer has turned to hypnotherapy in a bid to banish the stage fright ahead of her performance at the Oscars later this month.
She will be performing “Skyfall” at the ceremony on February 24th but has admitted that she is so nervous about the performance that she has been suffering sleepless nights and panic .
One of her friends also revealed that her nerves have gotten worse since it was announced that Barbra Streisand would also be performing at the event.
A source close to the star spoke out to The Sun and said: “A friend in LA recommended the hypnotherapist because Adele was getting so nervous about the gig.
“She has been rehearsing for the show with an orchestra, but all the preparation in the world isn't enough to keep her calm.
“She was so nervous before last year’s Grammys that she was sick before going on stage. She doesn't want a repeat of that.”
