For those of us who are unable to make it or get tickets for the Lady Gaga concerts to take place at Madison Square Garden on February 21 and 22 then there will still be the chance to se what the new queen of pop produces live as the shows will be taped for an HBO special.

Justin Bieber “Never Say Never” comparisons may well be drawn as yet another star will have a live show at Madison Square garden taped to be used in a documentary with concert footage – sound familiar?

The “Monster Ball” tour special programme is due to be aired on HBO on May 7, just two weeks before the scheduled release of the new album from Lady Gaga entitled “Born This Way”

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is celebrating her latest single release of the same name as her upcoming album “Born This Way” which entered the Billboard Hot 100 song chart at number one.

This is a historic chart position as it marks the 1,000^th top song in the history of the chart which has been running for 52 years.

Gaga said: “It's a tremendous honour to be the 1,000^th No.1 on Billboard...I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honour of my career.”

She added: I am so humbled and so honored and overwhelmed by the reception to “Born This Way” it has been life changing for me as an artist, and between Billboard and the international number ones and the radio numbers...I couldn't be more blessed.”
