Nashville, TN - Rolling Stone “Artist You Need To Know,” Frank Ray, hit #1 on the Texas Country Regional Radio Chart with his single “Drive,” from his debut EP, Different Kind of Country.


A former police officer in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Ray left the force in August 2017, to pursue music full-time, and his career has been in fast lane ever since. “Drive” has raced-up the Texas Country Regional Chart going from 10 to 6 to 4 to #1 in the last four weeks!

An experienced performer, Ray has opened shows for Keith Urban, Kane Brown, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Kip Moore, LANCO and Luke Combs. Last year, Ray performed for an audience of 40,000+ at the nationally televised NCAA Sun Bowl Halftime Show. Frank Ray grew up in San Antonio, Texas and currently resides in Las Cruces, NM. A former police officer, Ray left the force after 10 years of service to pursue his music career full time. A triple-threat songwriter, singer, and guitarist, Ray wrote all the songs on his debut EP, which has spawned two top-ten hits on Texas Country Radio. The inspiration for the riveting title track “Different Kind of Country” comes from Ray’s experience as a Hispanic American.
