Whitesnake Acoustic Album “Unzipped” Due October

If you’re a Whitesnake/David Coverdale fan, it’s more than likely that you’ve heard one of his legendary acoustic performances of “Soldier Of Fortune” or “Here I Go Again”.
If these songs are your kind of thing, imagine an album full of rare acoustic material including: “All I Want Is You”, “Is This Love” and many more of Whitesnake’s greatest hits, and David Coverdale's solo songs, on one album. Multiple formats will be available, described as; 1-CD, 2-CD, 2- vinyl LP and 5-CD+DVD. In addition, digital and streaming formats will be available too.
The new acoustic album called “Unzipped” is set to feature a collection of previously unreleased, and rare performances, spanned across two decades. This special addition album is due October 19th, 2018.
Available in all formats, Disc One will include 11 songs, from “Good To Be Bad” and “Forevermore” to “Love Is Blind” from Coverdale’s solo album “Into The Light”.
The second disc will be available as a double CD and double LP. This one will feature, Starkers In Tokyo- this being selected from an unplugged concert that David and Adrian Vandenberg (guitarist) played back in 1997, in Tokyo.
Not only does this album include rare acoustic performances from big hits of Whitesnake, it also includes early years of Deep Purple; giving a full range of Coverdale’s career.
The box set (5 disc DVDs), will have live performances from various concerts around the world including; a full acoustic show from 2008, in New York and various performances when they played in Tokyo.
Whitesnake’s next performance will be on August 11th, Cannafest 2018, Grand Forks, Canada.
