In a shocking turn of events, highly rated classic rockers Inglorious have lost three musicians in a single day. The unexpected news is all the more surprising as it comes hot on the heels of the release details of their third album (as reported by Music Talkers just days ago here.

The first inkling of the seismic shift came early morning of Thursday 26th October as bassist Colin Parkinson announced his departure due to ‘tensions’ within the group. He was followed later in the day by guitarists Drew Lowe and Andreas Eriksson, leaving only frontman Nathan James and drummer Phil Beaver as part of the band.

They moved immediately to fill at least one of the open guitar slots with the appointment of Danny Dela Cruz, a young prodigy who has played with James often in other recent projects. Say the band, ‘New, 19 year old, guitarist virtuoso Danny Dela Cruz is announced to replace Andreas Eriksson in the band. Announcements on a further guitarist and new bass player to follow….’

A statement was issued by Inglorious on Thursday afternoon to confirm the news. They said:

New projects bring new beginnings for UK rock act Inglorious, as the band today confirm the departure of guitarists Drew Lowe and Andreas Eriksson and bassist Colin Parkinson.

Vocalist James released his own statement, choosing to look to the future, “Our new album “Ride To Nowhere” signals new beginnings for the band – a different sound and a different lineup. I want to wish Colin, Andreas and Drew all the best with future musical adventures. Thank you for bringing the baton to this point to pass on. We are delighted to welcome Danny Dela Cruz into the fold – he’s a wonderfully gifted player, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the band. I couldn’t be more excited for what the future brings with Inglorious.”

The follow up to 2017’s ‘Inglorious II’ is called ‘Ride To Nowhere’ and is slated for release via Frontiers SRL on January 25th 2019. The band has UK Tour dates following the release which is currently still all going ahead as previously announced:
