London-based Spanish pop sensation Gizmo Varillas will support acclaimed Brazilian singer-songwriter and actor Seu Jorge next month for his much anticipated UK orchestral debut of ‘The Life Aquatic – Tribute to David Bowie’ show with The Heritage Orchestra, which is taking place at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on Friday 8th February.

A rising talent on the UK music scene, Gizmo has received lofty accolades from an array of high-profile publications, and will be performing hits including “Freedom For A Change” and “Losing You” from his critically acclaimed debut El Dorado and latest release Dreaming Of Better Days on the night.

Of the show, Varillas said:

“It's an honour to support one of my heroes interpreting an icon. Two of my favourite artists of all time in one... can't think of a better way to spend an evening.”

This talented Spanish artist, currently living in London, is not only putting on impressive shows but also the sole instrumental driving force behind his debut album. Gizmo Varillas is responsible for playing every instrument part on his debut album El Dorado. In addition, he also arranged and produced all songs too. Other accomplishments include supporting a range of big named acts including Jack Savoretti, Natalia Lafourcade and Julieta Venegas amongst many others. Varillas has also been recognized by Cafe Nero and Eurosonic Festival.
