The popular young star has already made waves and established her name in the music scene. Courtney’s next big appearance is set to be at Woodstock in August, where she can showcase her talent to another massive audience at one of the world's most iconic festivals.

Unfortunately, there has been some speculation as to whether the festival will go ahead this year because of financial backing. However, reports in the past 24 hours are denying this now and organisers are saying the event will happen. For Courtney, playing at Woodstock is a dream come true.

On Twitter she wrote:

“I’ve been dreaming of this for as long as I can remember, never in a million years did I think it would happen. I'm performing at @woodstockfest 50th!!! “

Courtney Ann Hadwin (born 6 July 2004) is a British singer-songwriter, best known for competing on the ITV's The Voice Kids UK 2017 and the thirteenth season of the NBC competition show America's Got Talent

This young talent is going places and at 14 years old, has lots of time to do it in. She impressed the America’s got Talent Judges so much that some controversy arose from it, as the public felt that the judges were favouring her and not giving the other contestants the same attention. She performed last in every episode she sang in, except for the final live show. The public seemed to have taken issue with the favour given to Courtney’s previous reality show abroad which made the public wonder if in fact she had been recruited- to be on the AGT show. This may be true, but it doesn’t change her popularity and her courage to sing her favourite songs of her music heroes in front of millions.  No mean feat for such a young girl.

It didn’t take long for her to be scooped up by a record company and indeed she was. In December 2018 Hadwin signed a record deal with SYCO Entertainment and Arista Records. Lucky for her fans, her debut album is expected in 2019 and will no doubt explode on the charts. This young woman has incredible presence on stage and a voice belying her age. Imagine at 14 years old being inspired by the likes of Little Richard, James Brown, Janis Joplin and Mick Jagger? Inspirational!

She has been quoted as saying that her experience on AGT was unforgettable and amazing. Her dream is to perform all her original work to millions of people on stage, where she feels most comfortable being in. She said that she is still friendly with the other contestants of AGT and she wouldn’t change a thing about the show and her final contribution. She gave it her best shot and she couldn’t have done it any better and she loved performing with a live band.

Courtney Hadwin; a name we will be seeing a lot of in the future.
