Just last week American country singer and songwriter Cole Swindell dropped his song “Drinkin’ Hours” and the track has already been making a good impression in various country music charts, plus gathering momentum on digital platforms including Spotify and Youtube.

“Drinkin’ Hours” is the first song released off of Cole Swindell’s upcoming EP Down Home Sessions V.

“Drinkin’ Hours” starts off with a bang. The upbeat track has a classic country feel with drum beats and guitar sounds all throughout. With such a soundscape, “Drinkin’ Hours”  produced by Michael Carter is a hit when paired with Cole Swindell’s sweet voice. Let’s not forget, the title of the song also hints at listeners that this track is definitely one to get down to. Through Cole’s lyrics, we can hear that “Drinkin’ Hours” is the song you play when it is time to crack open a beer, head to the dancefloor, and have fun with your friends.

Despite being a hit, “Drinkin’ Hours” is not the song that is kicking off Cole Swindell’s popularity. The country singer has already been nominated for multiple awards and won New Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards back in 2015. “Drinkin’ Hours” is just one of many new songs the country artists will be releasing every month for the next five months leading up to his next EP titled Down Home Sessions V. Now that the country artist has been in the music business for some time, he will be releasing his next EP hopefully later this year to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his recording deal with Warner Music Nashville.

As well as enjoying a succesful solo career, Cole Swindell is an accomplished songwriter who has written for some of the biggest names in recent Country, including; Craig Campbell, Thomas Rhett, Scotty McCreery, and Luke Bryan.
