Previously known as Klo, the electronic pop duo Kllo has entered the music space once again to drop their new single “Still Here” alongside a beautiful visual.

The new record is the first single spearheading their upcoming project “Maybe We Could''. Despite the uncertainty circulating the Earth, the musical duo has announced that “Maybe We Could'' will be dropping July 17th. For the release of “Still Here”, Kllo took to Instagram to express their thoughts on the record.

“Today we release our latest single “Still Here.” This was such a hard song to put together for so many reasons. It went through many versions and was sent to the trash many times. But we pursued it, put everything into it and tried our hardest to make something special for you. We hope it’s a warm companion in your home.” - via @kllomusic on Instagram

“Still Here” is a song that vividly expresses the emotions revolving around a dying relationship. Directed by famous videographer Matt Sav, the “Still Here” music video features the two artists in unusual settings behind a grainy screen. Despite the confusion experienced by some viewers, the vision for this music video was beautifully executed. In a recent interview with EARMILK, Matt Sav shared his thoughts on the visual.

“I wanted the video to be a poetic depiction of two people staying in a relationship beyond its logical end. I explored the interplay between love, obsession, imagined futures, lived pasts and the insanity that can be found in between. In our relationships, especially without good definitions around what love really means to us, we find the edges of freedom and responsibility blurring.” - Matt Sav via Earmilk.com

“Maybe We Could” will only be the duo’s second studio album, following their debut album “Backwater” released three years ago. Nevertheless, tracks like “Virtue”, “Predicament”, and “Dissolve” became crowd favorites racking up millions of streams and all came from Kllo’s first project. We can only expect bigger and better from “Maybe We Could”.

Fans can pre-order “Maybe We Could” on digital platforms and vinyl.
