Journey will be bringing their 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour to the UK & Ireland later this year, with 11 arena shows scheduled for October and November, including a performance at London’s O2 Arena.

Journey, originally formed in San Francisco in 1973, has become one of America's notable bands, achieving nineteen Top 40 Billboard hits in the US and global success with hits such as ‘Don’t Stop Believin’, ‘Open Arms’, and ‘Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)’, amassing over 100 million album sales worldwide. The band, comprising lead guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, and vocalist Arnel Pineda, released their latest studio album, Freedom, in 2022 and embarked on their 50th Anniversary tour in 2023.

After their headline arena tour in the USA, Journey will spend the summer co-headlining stadiums in America with Def Leppard before bringing their 50th Anniversary tour to the UK & Ireland in autumn. The acclaimed Illinois power-pop quartet Cheap Trick, also celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year, will be the main support act for all dates.

Neal Schon expressed his excitement, stating, "It's been too long since we've seen you all! We are all very excited to be coming back to the UK and playing with our good friends Cheap Trick, who I’ve known and played with since the 70s. It’s going to be a great party for all!"

Cheap Trick, known for their distinctive blend of wit, melody, and powerhouse pop hooks, have global hits such as ‘Surrender’, ‘The Flame’, and ‘I Want You To Want Me’. Their most recent studio album, In Another World, released in 2021, received global acclaim.

the tour is brought to audiences by AEG Presents and Aiken Promotions.
