Indie-rock torchbearers The Sherlocks are on a mission to achieve their biggest milestone yet—taking their upcoming album, Everything Must Make Sense!, all the way to #1. Following the band’s highest-ever chart position (#4) with People Like You & Me and their biggest headline show to date at Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl, the Yorkshire quartet is setting its sights on the top spot with a collection of arena-ready anthems.

As the album’s May 16 release date approaches, The Sherlocks have intensified their charge with the release of the title track—a high-energy indie-rock anthem brimming with punchy guitars, soaring melodies, and an unshakable chorus. Vocalist and guitarist Kiaran Crook describes the song as the ultimate representation of their recent singles:

“The energy is unmatched in this tune! It’s like early Strokes where all the guitars are driving and punchy. I wrote it in Paris while on tour with Keane—probably the only tune on the record that came super quick. It was instant, like a little gift from Paris to me.”

The album, recorded with producer David Radhad-Jones, showcases The Sherlocks’ signature sound while pushing their songwriting to new heights. Alongside Kiaran, the band features co-founder and drummer Brandon Crook, guitarist Alex Procter, and bassist Trent Jackson.

To celebrate the album’s release, The Sherlocks have crafted a variety of special edition formats, including unique CD covers featuring each band member, multiple vinyl variants (classic black, cream, and picture disc), and exclusive album bundles designed to fuel their campaign for a chart-topping success.

Live Shows & Summer Festivals

The Sherlocks are gearing up for an extensive European and UK/Ireland tour, including major stops at London’s Electric Ballroom and Manchester’s Albert Hall. They’ll also share the stage with the Kaiser Chiefs at a Plymouth FC stadium show and appear at festivals such as Tramlines and Monument. Additionally, fans can catch them on a record store tour celebrating the album’s release.

With ticket prices for their headline shows capped at £20-25 to keep them accessible, The Sherlocks are making sure as many fans as possible can be part of this journey.

Pre-orders for Everything Must Make Sense! and tickets for all shows are available now.
