Dr Luke Speaks Out Over Kesha Allegations
Producer Dr Luke has finally spoken out about the allegations that Kesha has made against him.
Kesha is currently still under contract with Dr Luke’s record company Kemosabe which falls under Sony Music but has tried to get a release from the contract, citing the fact that Dr Luke sexually assaulted her as the reasoning.
Dr Luke has always denied the singer’s claims and in the last couple of days a court has denied Kesha release from her contract which means that she cannot records any new music without his involvement.
Of the allegations against him, he has said: "The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha's favor on Friday.
"I didn't rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister.
"It's sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue.
"Kesha and I made a lot of songs together and it was often good, but there were creative differences at times."
He thanked everyone who has supported him, saying: "This is an ongoing legal case so I won't be responding / talking much about this. This should be tried in a court of law."
Kesha has received support from many female artists including Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, as well as a donation of $250,000 from Taylor Swift to help with the costs fo the law suit.
