Chris Brown Assault Case Still in Full Swing
R & B singer Chris Brown was recently arrested and accused of assault with a deadly weapon. However, reportedly Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos has hinted that the case against Brown is non-existent
Brown was arrested on August 30, his arraignment court date was subsequently set for Tuesday September 20. However, this court date was postponed, and it has been reported that the Police failed to present the case files to the District Attorney.
Legal sources have stated that the case is still ongoing, and that the detectives are busy investigating and pulling together evidence to hand over to prosecutors. The date for the arraignment has been pushed forward to 15 days from the original designated court date.
Brown was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at houseguest Baylee Curran. Brown denies the charges, and has been publicly cashing in on the whole saga, by retailing t shirts discrediting his accuser.
