Festival season is here, and it’s time to bring out the shades and sunscreen, and get ready for some great music! Arroyo Seco is scheduled for June 23rd and 24th, and the line up is insane! With a combination of old classics and new sounds, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy old loves, while also getting a taste of some new artists.

Neil Young is a famous folk rock artist who began with the band Buffalo Young, and later went on to have a successful solo carer. The Canadian artist had hits such as “Harvest Moon”, “Old Man”, and “Heart of Gold”. John Anthony White, (better know as Jack White), is an American musician, known for his killer vocals and incredible songwriting skills. While he is most known for his position as lead singer of The White Stripes, Jack White has had many hits in his solo career, and gone on to contribute to many other artist’s music as well. His hits include, but are not limited to, “Seven Nation Army”, “Love Interruption”, and “Top Yourself”. Day ones’ openers are sure to put on a great show, and set the mood for a second day of awesome!
Day two of Arroyo Seco has some insanely talented acts! Main headliners include Kings of Leon, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters and Third Eye Blind. Kings of Leon recently released a new album, “Walls”. Kings of Leon has had many hits since they're debut in 2002, that have made them beloved by many. Although their more famous songs such as, “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody” are loved by all, be sure to check out their new songs such as “Eyes on You”. After all, it is always more fun to sing along!
Robert Plant is known as a legend, and with good reason! As the lead vocals of Led Zeppelin, his sound is unique and incomparable. Some of his songs with the new band are titled “Fixin’ to Die”, and “Tin Pan Valley”. While Plant’s newest songs are catchy and fun, one can hold on to the hope that he will play 70’s classics such as “Stairway to Heaven” and “Kashmir”.
Third Eye Blind, the popular grunge band from San Francisco, will also be headlining on day two, and they’ll be the perfect cure for all of the 90’s babies nostalgia! If they play their well-known hits, “Semi-Charmed Life” and “Jumper”, they’re sure to have an ecstatic crowd, rockin’ out all night!

The festival is decently priced and located in Pasadena, home to many delicious hole in the wall restaurants and small bars.
