The Levins' music is harmony-driven, with uplifting lyrics that celebrate the bond of our common humanity to help heal the divide in our nation and world. With Choir and Special Guest Josette Diaz from The Voice! Contemporary duo The Levins are known for putting a smile on your face, offering peace-filled folk-pop that is warm and uplifting without skating over the complexities of life. Guitar and piano, along with tightly blended unison vocals, reflect the couple’s own compatible musical and personal relationship which began with meeting at an open mike in Berkeley,

CA. They are 2014 Falcon Ridge Emerging Artists, CT Folk Festival Songwriter winners, and South Florida Folk Festival Songwriter Finalists. Their My Friend Hafiz CD, was selected by WFUV’s John Platt, as a top 10 CD of 2013. Their latest release, TRUST, debuted in the Top 10 on Folk radio. “I Am Here”, a song from the CD was an Empower Award winner at the 2016 Posi Music Festival. Their forthcoming album, Caravan of Dawn, will be released in early 2019. www.thelevinsmusic.com “The Levins speak to our better selves with their crystalline harmonies and uplifting lyrics.” – John Platt, WFUV – “The Levins music…a much needed remedy for a hurried and harried world.

They serve to remind us of the old adage that says music and poetry can indeed be a soothing balm for troubled times.” - Lee Zimmerman, No Depression -
