45 Grave and Luna 13 - A night of female madness coming May 10, 2019

If you miss the days when punk and goth started merging, get ready to rush into a night of classic Death Music at Whisky-a-go-go May 10th with Dinah Cancer and her legendary band 45 Grave.
Following the reunion of the band, happened in 2005 to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary from the release of their very first song, Dinah and her boys are back at full speed on the stages of America.
After a short break and a concert in Tustin last November, they are ready to set on fire the West Hollywood temple of Rock and Metal.
45 Grave have been around since 1979. Throughout their thirty years' career, they have released five albums and toured all around the world.
After their first split-up in 1985, the formation has changed, with Dinah Cancer being the only original member left. Dinah, the very soul of the band, is an energetic performer and a real rocker.
Their blend of Punk rock, Death, and Gothic metal was a real game-changer at the time, proving the innovative creativity of the band since the very beginning. Some of their tracks from that period such as Black Cross, Partytime and Evil are now pure legend.
The band, collected success after success throughout the years. While the song Evil was featured on MTV, the members of 45 Grave appeared in Ridley Scott's famous movie Blade Runner. They are also featured in the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles as "early proponents of American Gothic Rock".
As the opening act, who could fit more than the innovative duo Luna13? Lilith Bathory and Doc Luna, the Californian who created Black/Bass/Metal, will warm up the audience with their provocative show and their controversial songs.
After signing to Cleopatra Records, and gaining an endorsement from KAT Percussion, Luna13 have collected recent success in Hollywood opening for Doyle, Possessed, Mushroomhead and now 45 Grave, resulting as one of the most controversial Bass Music acts ever, including having a recent show in Las Vegas shut down for exploitation.
Their songs, a form of worshipping Darkness, have been praised for their boldness and authenticity. Their performance, including blood-drinking rituals and mesmerizing moves from vocalist (and Burlesque performer) Lilith Bathory, gained the attention of a wide Metal audience.
The explosive energy of Dinah Cancer, together with the exciting controversy of Luna13 will definitely result in a great show, unmissable for any Metal or Goth fan. Also on the bill May 10th is the Scurvy kids, The Octobrists The Mother Vines.
