Police investigating Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt believe that she did not intend to kill herself.

She was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after overdosing on ibuprofen and was found to also have cuts on her wrist which were caused by a meat cleaver.

Police are treating the incident as a suicide attempt although many believe it was simply a cry for help.

A source said: "She wanted attention.

“'Her call to a suicide hotline is compelling evidence she wanted to be saved.

"It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house."

It has emerged that the Jackson family have been concerned about Paris’ behaviour for over six months which implies that it has been building up for quite some time.

She has been under a lot of pressure including being called to give evidence in the trial of her father’s wrongful death which is bound to take its toll.

Paris’ guardian Katherine Jackson told the press that Paris is “fine and getting appropriate medical attention.”
