The two UK artists have teamed up to produce a lovely surprise Christmas EP. 'December' is the name of both EP and title track, which Gabrielle Aplin and Hannah Grace have collaborated on. In addition, the EP also contains 3 other well known Christmas classics; Joni Mitchell's 'River', ‘Blue Christmas’ by Elvis Presley and Martina McBride and ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ by Judy Garland.

Anyone familiar with either singer will automatically know what they're in for. On 'December', their vocals compliement each other perfectly; something that could almost make one shiver. There's an obvious connection between them both. Listening to this piano accompanied ballad, Gabrielle & Hannah seem to connect like lego.

This might not be surprising, as both singers have been friends for some time, sharing similar passions in singing and songwriting. In addition, Hannah Grace has recently signed to Aplins label; Never Fade Records. In August, we reported about Hannah Grace, when her video 'Oh River' went viral on Facebook. It has since received nearly 2 million views. Both artists have exciting projects in the pipeline; Hannah Grace has a new single ‘With You’ due in January, whilst Aplin released ‘My Mistake’ last week, the video for that song has already received widespread praise and clocked up impressive Youtube views.

Hannah Grace commented yesterday about song:

“We’re so excited to share ‘December’ with the world. We got to make the EP with a long time collaborator of both of ours, Luke Potashnick, and that made the recording process so fun and special. This EP means a lot to us, and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it!”

Hannah Grace is a Welsh singer, her genre of music is described as a mix of soul, pop and jazz. As well having viral videos online, Hannah has caught the attention of several high profile figures, including Lady Gaga. She has also performed on BBC Radio 2 and several other stations. One of her covers 'Praise You', originally by Fatboy Slim, has been used by X-Factor and featured on several adverts, resulting in 60'000 UK sales.

Gabrielle Aplin is from Wiltshire, England. Her music is described as a mix of Folk, indie folk and indie rock. Establishing herself as a household name, Aplin first gained a large following from her acoustic covers on Facebook. In 2012 she made it to number 1 in the UK charts with her cover of 'The Power of Love', this was used on a John Lewis advert. Her debut 'English Rain' album then rocketed to number 2 in the charts, also being certified as Gold.
