Simon Cowell Gets Involved In Stage Version of the X Factor

Fans of the X Factor will be happy to know that a stage show based on the TV program is in the pipeline and the show's boss Simon Cowell is searching for actors to star in it.
The show is being created by TV funny man Harry Hill and is set to open in 2014.
"We're going to see a workshop on the musical in a couple of weeks' time," Cowell commented at the Britain's Got Talent London auditions. "What I'm hearing is that it's very funnyl and very good.
"That workshop will be the time we decide whether we are in or out. We have to wait and see whether it's going to work.
"But the buzz from the people who know about these things is that it's very good."
Cowell himself champions TV talent shows despite declining ratings for the 2012 series of the X Factor.
He dismissed the low ratings saying: "You've just got to try and make a better show than you did the year before. And if you do that there's a chance you can get the numbers up.
"I never go into anything thinking the numbers are going to go down, because the first thing I say to our production team is you've got to make a better show than last year."
