Simon Cowell Holds X Factor Crisis Talks

X Factor's boss Simon Cowell is said to be holding a major crisis talk next week to find a way to boost 2012's flagging ratings.
The stability of the show was thrown into question after it lost out at the NTAs to rival Saturday night show Strictly Come Dancing.
Now, bosses from across the Atlantic as well as those from the UK will be getting together for the crisis meeting at Sony’s London Headquarters and it is thought that the jobs of all the judges: Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger, are hanging in the balance.
Cowell said: "There are a series of meetings taking place. All the Brits are coming in, all the Americans, and we're gonna make some decisions then. We're going to mix it up.
"You've just got to try to make a better show than you did the year before. And if you do that, there's a good chance you can get the numbers up," he added.
There have been reports that Tulisa and Gary were already at risk of being dropped by producers but The Sun claims that he may end up quitting himself before he’s pushed.
Another rumour was that former judge Cheryl Cole may be returning but she dismissed the claims when questioned on Graham Norton’s show saying it was a “definite no”.
Cowell himself has dismissed previous claims that he would be returning to the show and is instead focussing on his position on the American X Factor panel.
