Justin Bieber has gotten himself into trouble after a woman has come forward claiming that the star assaulted her with a Nerf gun bullet in November of last year.

Even though the bullets are only made of foam, the police have still had to take the incident seriously and have been interviewing people who were at the scene at the time of the alleged incident.

TMZ reports that Bieber was in Ottawa, Canada and was preparing for a concert when the incident took place according to a female security guard. She later went to the Canadian police to report that either Bieber himself or someone who was with him at the time had fired the gun in her direction and the foam bullet had hit her.

According to sources close to the star, he was playing with the toy Nerf guns with his 3 year old brother and 4 year old sister when the security guard was accidentally hit.

Although the case is highly unlikely to go any further, it still highlights the risk the star is at from lawsuits. Even though this one was less serious, Bieber has also had another to face at the beginning of this year. He was accused of assaulting his former bodyguard Moshe Benabou and he is now seeking over $420,000 in lost wages and compensation.
