A poll has named Coldplay’s “Clocks” the greatest song of the past ten years.
The poll was started by BBC 6 Music in order to celebrate its tenth anniversary, calling upon its listeners to vote for their favourite song from the station’s lifetime and Coldplay’s song from 2003 came out on top.
The top 100 songs were played throughout the day and then Steve Lamacq finished up by counting down the top 10.
He said of Coldplay’s victory: "It's a good result for Coldplay, who were clearly one of the biggest bands of the decade."
