The Voice Set to Undergo Changes to Hook Viewers

It may have been a flop for its first series last year but producers of BBC talent show The Voice are promising some major changes for this series to stop viewers switching off.
The show will be returning to our screens at the end of March and will now have another round which essentially allows the mentors to steal acts off one another.
The most successful part of the show last year was the audition stages where the mentors sat on rotating chairs and viewers started switching off at the live shows branding them “boring”.
This series, the live shows have been cut down to just three weeks and the battle rounds where mentors pitted their own acts against each other are set to take up a lot more time.
A show insider told The Mirror: "After each battle it may not all be over for the loser. Coaches can steal a loser for their team.
"Changes are designed to ensure viewers remain hooked from start to finish."
Mentors will be able to steal the loser of each battle if they want to and if more than one judge chooses to, the decision over which mentor to choose will fall to the act themselves.
Blind auditions where the mentors have spinning chairs will also be extended as that was one of the most popular elements from the last series.
