Fall Out Boy Bring Album Release Date Forward
- in Latest
Fall Out Boy have announced that they are bringing forward the release of their new album which is entitled “Save Rock and Roll”.
Originally, the album was to be released on 6th May but the band announced through their website that the date has been bought forward and the album will now be available from the 15th and 16th worldwide.
In the announcement, the band said: "So when we got this all rolling we didn't expect it to be so crazy. But we weren't kidding when we said we had the album done- so why wait?
"It means the world to us the way you have welcomed us back. "Save Rock and Roll" now out early, April 15/16 worldwide."
The band recently caused a stir when problems with a ticketing website that was selling tickets for a one off show meant that many fans were unable to buy legitimately.
They later hinted that they may be adding more tour dates saying: “To anybody who managed to get legitimate tickets to our shows, we're so excited to see you. To the rest of you; We plan on being a band for a long time.
"Hopefully this isn't your only chance to see us and hopefully by the time you do, there’s some better way to fight back against scalping."
