Adele Already Signed Up For Next Bond Theme
- in Latest
After her huge success with her theme to the last Bond film “Skyfall”, Adele has reportedly been signed up by the film’s producers to be on the soundtrack of the nest Bond film.
The British singer helped the film franchise bag its first ever Oscar after she won the Best Song award for “Skyfall” and movie moguls are eager to tap into her success again.
An insider told The Sun: "Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success.
"They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley."
Of course, Dame Shirley was responsible for some of the most iconic Bond themes including “Goldfinger”, “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Moonraker” but whereas those songs did enjoy immense success, none of them have come close to the three million copies of “Skyfall” that Adele has sold worldwide.
Adele’s aunt revealed that even though Adele has managed to pick up a whole host of awards already this season, the Academy Award is the one that she is most proud of. She said: "We streamed it live online through the night. When Adele burst into tears, we all did the same. We’re all quite strong but we’re also very emotional. Adele’s one of us. We feel what she feels."
