Korean rapper Psy has announced that he will be releasing the follow up to his monster hit Gangnam Style this April.

He burst onto the global stage last year with the track that got everyone doing the horse dance and quickly became a huge success but until now, he has remained quiet about what happens next in the world of Psy. That is, until now.

He confirmed in a video that was posted on YouTube that he would be coming back at us with a new track and a large concert in Seoul.

In the clip he said: “April 2013 is a new single, worldwide all at the same time. And I'm gonna do a concert... you can see it live, on YouTube. Just for you."

He addressed fans in several different languages which shows just how far his Gangnam Style craze spread.

Psy has previously spoken out about the huge pressure he faces following up such a successful song.

He said: "I don't think I'll be doing any collaborations until my new track is done, and it's not done yet, but I'm thinking of doing it by myself, so I can prove I can do it one more time.

"And I'm working hard on it, because I've got to be good with the track and the video, and I've got to be able to perform it on the stage."
