Justin Bieber Portuguese Show Cancelled Due to Lack of Interest

Justin Bieber has been forced to cancel one of his shows in Portugal due to a reported lack of interest.

It was originally thought that the cancellation was due to Bieber’s hectic lifestyle but inside gossip from US website TMZ actually shows that poor ticket sales are to blame.

The site claims that only 60% of tickets for the show were actually sold which is embarrassing for anyone but enough to leave one of the world’s biggest pop stars positively red-faced.

It’s another in a long line of blows for the singer after a week that included uproar from young fans about being kept waiting for 2 hours and yet another run in with a paparazzi photographer.

A statement on the website of Pavilhao Atlantico which is the venue that Bieber was meant to be playing at said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, March 12.

"The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11."

Bieber’s fellow pop stars recently took to Twitter to defend the singer’s recent actions including rapper Professor Green.

What is certain is that he has come a long way from the baby-faced, swooshy haired teeny bopper he started out as.
