Lady Gaga Gets a Gold Plated Wheelchair
- in Latest
Lady Gaga has proved that she can even recover from her recent hip surgery in style as she will be riding around in a custom made gold plated wheelchair.
The singer underwent surgery earlier this year after discovering that she was suffering with inflammation of the joints and synovitis.
She was forced to cancel 21 dates of her Born This Way Tour while she had the surgery and is now recovering with the kind of style that only Gaga herself could pull off.
The wheelchair was created for her by Ken Borochov of the brand Mordekai and as well as the obviously bling, also has leather seats and a leather canopy for those rainy days.
Borochov spoke to The Sun about his creation, telling them: "I was thrilled to create what I dubbed The Chariot — a chair fit for a queen.”
Lady Gaga herself has been extremely thankful for the support of her fans during her illness and their understanding of the show cancellations.
After her operation was complete, she promptly took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support saying: "Monsters, you really gave me a lot of strength today. Everything happened so fast, but when it came time to face it I reflected on the many stories and experiences you've shared with me about your lives."
What are your thoughts on this? Has Gaga gone too far this time?
