Blue’s Greatest Hits Back in Top 10 After Big Reunion Appearance
- in Latest
Blue have seen a huge rise in sales of their greatest hits album since they appeared on our screens again in last week’s “The Big Reunion”.
The four-piece boy band who first got together back in 2000 joined the already reformed bands on the show including 5ive, Liberty X and B*Witched.
Though they initially met a frosty reception from the other bands who mostly resented them joining in so late in the process, the Blue boys eventually wowed the others during rehearsals and will be joining the others for The Big Reunion show and subsequent tour.
After their appearance on the show, hoards of fans took to iTunes to download their album Best of Blue and resulted in it catapulting up the charts into the top 10.
The album is currently sitting comfortably at number 5 on the iTunes album chart, something that the Blue boys were very pleased to hear.
Anthony Costa tweeted while the album was still crawling up the top 10: "Just seen that @officialblue "best of" is number 7 in the album charts!!!!! Wow thankyou all so much ..this is amazing news xxxxxxx."
Lee Ryan also tweeted: "Wow!!! Thank you so much everyone!"
As well as taking part in The Big Reunion tour, the boys are also releasing their new single Hurt Lovers on 22nd April and their new LP Roulette on 29th April.
