- in Latest
It has been revealed that the stage show that Harry Hill is working on which is based on the X Factor will be opening next spring and will be performed at the London Palladium.
Casting for the show which has been dubbed “It’s Time to Face the Musical” will be starting in May ahead of the show’s opening next year.
The premise of the show as is known so far is that it follows the story of a girl called Chenice who lives in a caravan with her grandfather. She is one of the few people left in Britain that hasn't heard of the X Factor because her grandfather has an iron lung and it blocks the TV signal.
Gathering from the synopsis, it’s as serious and hard hitting as you expect from something written by Harry Hill.
Rebecca Quigley who is the UK managing director of Stage Entertainment has spoken highly of the show saying: "It's going to be quite a wacky big show.
"Louis Walsh and Cowell are characters in the show - which will feature 19 new songs - along with others you might recognise, but who have different names.
"We learn why Simon Cowell wears his trousers high."
