Stereophonics Announce UK Arena Tour
- in Latest
Welsh rockers Stereophonics have announced that they will be doing a UK arena tour this November.
The tour will consist of 12 dates and is in promotion of their new album Graffiti on the Train which was originally intended to be one of a trio of albums.
The plan to do this only changed after the release of Green Day’s Uno, Dos and Tre albums.
Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones told the Daily Star: "You can't absorb 30 songs at once. That's why we're giving people 45 minutes worth for now, but hopefully we'll have another album out within a year.
"We thought we'd be the first, then Green Day announced Uno, Dos and Tre. They didn't do that well but they'd have more of a chance if Billie Joe Armstrong had been around to play more concerts."
The tour will commence at Glasgow’s Hydro Arena on 8th November and will take them around the UK’s biggest cities including two dates in their native Wales. The tour will end on 28th November at the O2 arena.
