Ant and Dec to Give Proceeds of “Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble” to Charity

TV duo Ant and Dec have announced that they will donate all of the proceeds from the sale of their song “Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble” to charity.
Quite possibly the subjects of the most accidental comeback ever, the boys are currently on track to reach the official number one this weekend with the song which they originally released back in 1994 on the back of their days as PJ and Duncan on teen drama Byker Grove.
The pair were recently interviewed for BBC Radio 2 where they revealed that they would be donating the proceeds from the single to charity Childline. They also expressed their surprise at the public’s reaction to their performance of “Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble” on Saturday Night Takeaway.
“At the end of the show we do a bit of a performance, we were looking for one this week and we were talking about The Big Reunion and how we're big fans.
“The producers said we should get them on and do PJ & Duncan at the end of it.
“We were never thinking it would lead to anything or anyone would buy the record or anything. The last few days have been bewildering.
“People are still buying the track, so we've just decided that any money we make out of it will be put towards Childline, as we're patrons of that.”
