X Factor Judges Demanding Higher Salaries

This year’s X Factor could really blow boss Simon Cowell’s budget as it is rumoured that the judges are fighting for higher wages.
The Sun newspaper has reported that all four of the judges are pushing for seven figure salaries which will make it the most the show has ever paid to the celebrity judges.
It looks as though Sharon Osbourne is a strong contender to come back this year after six years away from the show and rumours suggest that if she does return, she could secure a cool salary of somewhere between £1.5 and £2 million.
According to The Sun, if they return Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger could bag themselves £1.5 million apiece. Veteran judge Louis Walsh has apparently settled for a slightly more modest sum of £1 million as he seems to have rooted himself in the role.
The fear is between ITV bosses now that the already expensive show could be tipped way over budget.
A source told The Sun: “We know returning judges cost more. It's what happens if you negotiate every series.
"If there's a hold-up, it could mean someone is not given a judging role and it's back to the drawing board.”
