It’s official, the UK was indeed ready to “rhumble” and now Ant and Dec have got their first UK number one with “Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble” 19 years after the song was initially released.

The boys did it in spectacular style as well having sold a huge 84,000 copies which according to the Official Charts Company equates to 64% of all sales of the track since it was first released.

The closest competitor and finishing at number two in the charts was Pink with “Just Give me a Reason” having sold 5,000 less copies than Ant and Dec.

The Saturdays with their song “What About Us” featuring Sean Paul was kicked back to number three despite being number one last week.

Although their greatest hits album was riding high in the iTunes chart through the week, they didn't manage to make the official album chart although judging by Ant’s reaction after their performance on Saturday Night Takeaway, there’s no love lost there.
