Korean rapper Psy has promised that his new single will cause a whole new dance craze similar to that of Gangnam Style.

The song, currently dubbed “Gentleman” will be released in Korea on 12th April but then Psy will be performing the song live for the first time at a concert in South Korean capital Seoul on 13th April.

As part of the promotion leading up to the release of the new song, PSy has been photographed wearing various white outfits including a wedding dress and a space suit and has asked fans to wear white to the gig which has been dubbed “The Happening”.

In a recent interview, Psy said: "I’ve been working and reworking on it continuously and I think the latest version will be the final one.

"This is another very rousing song. Its title is ‘Gentleman’. The dance is one known to all Koreans but new to foreigners. This will be presented in Psy style."

There is speculation amongst fans that the new dance that Psy will adopt to accompany the song will be a Psy-style reworking of a traditional Korean dance although Psy has not confirmed this himself.

“The Happening” will be streamed live on YouTube for fans around the world to be part of the action.
