Remote Controlled Helicam Crashes Just Yards From X Factor Auditionees
- in Latest

Auditions for the X Factor in London nearly went horribly wrong when a helicam that was filming the queuing auditionees crashed just metres away from them.
The helicam suddenly lost control as it was filming this year’s hopefuls and the operator was forced to crash land it in the Thames which was just yards from the people queuing.
An X Factor spokesperson told The Daily Star: "After the helicam broke, the cameraman steered it over the Thames to avoid it crashing into the crowds waiting to audition. Thankfully no one was hurt and we managed to get a diver to fish the camera out of the river."

Auditions for this year’s X Factor started on Saturday in London but who is on the judging panel is still being kept heavily under wraps. It is rumoured though that Tulisa will not be returning after a year marred with controversy. First, a sex tape was leaked featuring Tulisa and then her debut solo album The Female Boss managed to reach just number 35 in the charts.
It is believed however that Gary Barlow will be returning as will Nicole Scherzinger who mentored both of last year’s two finalists.
