Hear’Say’s Danny Hoping for Second Chance on The Voice
- in Latest
This year’s The Voice has already shown a few familiar faces singing for their supper in the hopes of one last shot at fame and this week’s episode will be no different.
Appearing in tomorrow’s show will be Danny Foster who originally shot to fame in the reality show Popstars and ended up becoming one of the members of Hear’Say.
Danny claims that he feels no jealousy towards his ex-band mates Myleene Klass and Kim Lomas who have both gone on to have successful careers in TV.
He said: "I have never seen that they have done better than me. Their advertising deals and stuff like that is fair enough but musically, I am still singing and that is what I got into Popstars for.
"I never went into it to be a model or an actor. I went in to be a singer. I wish them the best."
Myleene’s newly found success came after a stint in the I’m a Celebrity... jungle but Danny claims that he would not consider the same route in an attempt to revive his career.
"I didn't fancy eating kangaroo testicles in the jungle," he continues, "I've been waiting for a talent show that was based on singing."
