Louis Walsh Recruiting For New Boy Band
- in Latest
Louis Walsh is reportedly recruiting members for a new boy band.
The X Factor judge is trying to repeat the success he enjoyed with the likes of Boyzone and Westlife with a brand new generation of boy band for young girls to swoon over.
Since starting his role as a judge on The X Factor, the music executive has been quiet on the management front, opting to focus on his role as judge and mentor on the show but back in the 90s and 2000s, he found huge success with Boyzone and Westlife having helped them amass a combined 70 million album sales.
In addition to their album selling success, Westlife is widely known as one of the most successful boy bands of all time prior to their split back in 2011.
Little detail is known as yet as to what kind of members Walsh is hoping to recruit for his new project but auditions will be held at the Button Factory in Temple Bar Dublin on 19th, 20th and 21st of May and he is asking for men of all nationalities to attend.
