Justin Bieber Set to Pay Thousands for Quarantined Pet Monkey
- in Latest
The brat of the pop world Justin Bieber is facing paying what could become thousands of dollars for the accommodation for his pet monkey in Germany. Bieber was forced to leave the monkey behind because he could not produce the appropriate paperwork to allow it to enter the country.
There was some controversy when it was claimed that Bieber had left the animal behind and now it seems that the cost of its accommodation in the two months since the incident has rapidly crept up to four figures.
A report by Fox News said: “Customs spokesman Thomas Meister says Bieber has until midnight Friday to claim the monkey seized by authorities on March 28, when the singer failed to produce its papers after landing in Munich on tour.
The shelter says his management company has asked that the 20-week-old monkey be placed in a zoo.” The monkey had been a rather unusual birthday present for the teen star’s 19th birthday but it seems that he has lost interest in it with Fox News claiming that there was never any such request to have the monkey placed in a zoo by Bieber’s management.
