An 18 year old girl from Shropshire was attacked by fellow students after they found out that she was earning money as a Taylor Swift lookalike.

Student Xenna Kristian was left with severe injuries after the attack including a suspected broken jaw.

She said in an interview with The Daily Mail: "Some girls at college had started making nasty comments, but it escalated really quickly.

"The girl came up behind me and dragged me off my chair by my pony tail, then started kicking me in the face."

Shropshire police confirmed the attack saying "We have received a report that a teenage girl was assaulted on King Street, however we cannot comment further at this time."

Taylor Swift recently suffered her own ordeal after a fan swam for a mile just to reach her at her beach home.

Police swiftly arrested the man and he is currently still in custody.

He insisted that he just wanted to be close to Taylor and when asked about his actions he said he “had just completed a swim, in which he intended to meet [her]."
