Little Mix Take US Album Charts By Storm

X Factor winners Little Mix are doing exceptionally well in the US iTunes charts.

Their debut album DNA went on sale across the pond earlier today and has since soared to number two in the album charts proving the girls’ popularity over there.

They currently have the deluxe edition of the album sitting just behind Daft Punk’s eagerly anticipated Random Access Memory but also the standard version sitting just out of the top 10 at number 11.

The band’s popularity in the States has been helped immensely by their song Wings being featured on high profile shows American Idol and Glee and it was released as their debut single over there at the beginning of this year.

Their popularity seems to have come to a shock to them as they recently told Digital Spy that they “didn’t realize how many fans they had in the US until they visited earlier this year.”

The girls are currently busy promoting the album in New York and will also be performing as part of Good Morning America’s summer concert so are set to do even better and become even more high profile over there.
