Spotify have announced that new service Spotify Discover will be available to all users from today.

Spotify Discover will be able to provide recommendations based on what you are listening to and will also track the artists you follow.

Spotify's chief product officer Gustav Söderström said of the new service: "With the Discover page, we're making good on our promise of helping you choose what to listen to when faced with millions of songs.

"We've made your listening experience more personal, more social and more current."

The service will use already existing apps such as Tunigo and Songkick in order to provide news and upcoming gigs for the acts that you follow.

Spotify Discover is at the moment only available through Spotify’s web player but is expecting to be rolled out to the desktop and app version of Spotify in the near future.

Twitter’s #music service recently named Spotify as the most popular way of sharing music which just shows that the brand is certainly moving in the right direction and is gradually growing momentum.
