The late Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has been taken to hospital after an alleged suicide attempt.

TMZ reports that the 15 year old was taken in to hospital at around 2AM on Wednesday morning after a 911 call was made reporting a possible overdose at her home in Los Angeles.

While they were tending to her, medics also reportedly saw cuts on her wrists.

Paris has recently posted several tweets which seemed that she was in some emotional distress.

Her first tweet was: “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay,” which is of course a reference to the Beatles’ song Yesterday.

She later quoted Concrete Wall by Zee Avi: “you say I need therapy, well, my darling, so do you. don't need for you to tell me what is wrong in all I say or do.”

She also implied that she had been crying by musing about tears saying: “I wonder why tears are salty?”

Paris is now said to be doing ok although the Jackson family are yet to make an official statement.
