Glastonbury Declared Best Value For Money Festival
- in Latest
A survey carried out by VoucherCodes.co.uk has revealed Glastonbury as the top music festival for value for money.
As part of the survey, the prices of seeing each of the headline acts individually was weighed up against ticket prices for the festival.
This year’s line-up was assessed under the terms comparing the cost of seeing this year’s headliners including Primal Scream and The Rolling Stones individually and it was found that festival-goers would save £257.66 by seeing them at Glastonbury.
It has been worked out previously that the British festival-goer will on average spend almost £500 when attending one of the UK’s many festivals and at a time where everyone is watching what they spend, it is becoming more and more important that in order to keep attendance up, events create the best value for money.
The Isle of Wight festival came second in the survey, reportedly saving their visitors a respectable £167.
Latitude festival came in last place, offering to save people that attend a mere £13.76 though this could be because its headliners are lesser known acts to the general public.
