Court Hear Michael Jackson’s Ghost Said He Accidently Killed Himself
- in Latest
There has been revelation in the trial where Michael Jackson’s family are seeking damages against promotions company AEG Live which left jurors in fits of laughter.
CEO of AEG Live Randy Phillips testified yesterday and made the rather outlandish claim that he had spoken to the ghost of Michael Jackson.
He said that his friend and Lionel Richie’s ex-wife Brenda Richie had contacted Jackson’s spirit herself and he told her that he "accidentally killed himself".
Phillips also apparently told the jury "Brenda called me to tell me that she was in communications with Michael either through a medium or directly. She said Michael told her that it wasn't Dr Murray's fault, that he had accidentally killed himself."
The testimony was allowed to stand even though members of the jury were reportedly in fits of laughter as he was making the bizarre claim.
The Jackson family claim that AEG Live were being negligent when they hired Conrad Murray who was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter after providing Michael with enough of the sedative Propofol to lead to him overdosing.
The trial is set to continue for another three months.
