Cleo Higgins has revealed that she would love to reform Cleopatra to produce “one last album”.
Higgins first found fame back in the 90s as part of the girl band with her two sisters and they enjoyed moderate, albeit short lived success but Cleo believes that she never had proper closure for that time in her life.
"We never got to say goodbye to our fans," she said in an interview. "The Spice Girls said goodbye. S Club said goodbye. Cleopatra just vanished.
"It's a strange situation because the public seemed to love the fact that I was from Cleopatra when I appeared on The Voice.
"It would be nice for the fans to do one album, one tour and add closure to that part of my life."
Higgins is currently the bookies’ favourite to win The Voice but when asked why, if she wanted to reunite with the rest of Cleopatra she didn’t go down the route of being on The Big Reunion she said: "I actually don't see The Big Reunion as the easy option. When I'm on my own I can control myself, but with the girls, we're on fire.
"We have great chemistry and people love it, but it takes my control away from myself.
"I could never realise my dream of being a solo artist either, because the group would cloud me. It's clouded me for a long time.
"I now have my opportunity to be who I want to be without the ties of Cleopatra."
Cleo has recently been in trouble with The Voice bosses over her apparent diva ways behind the scenes on the show but she still remains the favourite to win the show.
